Home pages linked through EDIRC are regularly checked, on the 10th day of every month. If a Broken link is indicated, our checking revealed that either:

The server's address is not anymore in our DNS database. This can be temporary, but usually not.
The home page has changed its address on the specified server, or moved to another server.
No connection could be established while we checked
The server gave an uninterpretable response while we checked

Note that we check the same address three nights in a row, and it is tagged as broken if we fail on all three nights. If you believe this is in error, or if you know or found a better address for an institution with a broken link, I would be very happy to know about it, and others will benefit from your mail. Do not forget to indicate which institution you are refereing to and its address on the web! Thanks a lot!

Due to some error, all link currently show as broken. I am currently working on the problem

Links are checked with linklint, shareware that is definitely worth its price.
